Greetings my friends and watchers!

It has been a while since I have written a journal.

I have been busy dealing "real life issues". My work hours have changed again. Which has been hard to adjust to (10pm to 10am). I do admit I like seeing the sunlight. Working nights can be boring in the middle of the wilderness.

I met a new "friend" out by the old mine. I discovered a feral kitten out by the buildings. Now I have a domesticated companion while I work the night hours. He is a big cat now. I named him "DerFur". He has done a great job killing off the mice. Last year, I stepped on two rattlesnakes in the office complex. NICE cat! Less mice, LESS snakes! Maybe I'll post a foto of him.

I also lost my primary hard drive on my archive computer. FUN. IF you don't backup your files, let me remind you to DO so. Most of my art and documents were backed up to my secondary hard drive, which was good. Getting them loaded to a new computer was work (my old system was IDE, moved to a SATA system). Now I have to reconfigure my scanning software to my new operating system.

My new work location has made my fine detailing art almost impossible. I do have allot time there for quick sketching. I still have about five hours of night shift for the fine focused art.
Quick art is FUN. I have noticed it does not get the attention that the detailed art receives.
This has been a fun experience learning to adapt to these weird work hours.

I hope everybody is doing great!

 Have fun being creative!
